"Just a quick announcement that there is a new TICA cattery that is also on the savannahcat.com that has basically used a derivative of the Wyldthingz name- Wildthangz. I called TICA and they could do nothing as the 2 letter change is acceptable.
I
asked them nicely if they could alter their name so it doesn't sound
almost exactly like mine and they refused and ignored my emails even
when I offered to pay for any changes myself. We are a small community
and it grieves me when some one is so short-sited and has no regard for
their fellow breeders.
So please be aware that Wildthangz has no connection whatsoever with Wyldthingz! Thanks everyone"
The savannah community is a very tightly knit group, and we all try to work together to help each other and improve the breed. For a new breeder to be so inconsiderate and inflexible speaks volumes of the type of relationship they may present to any potential kitten buyers as well.
They also make the grandiose claim of being "the most reputable breeders in the southeast." Makes me wonder how on earth they could make such a claim, seeing as they are so new and there are MANY excellent breeders in southeast USA.
